Why Ketamine?
Ketamine is an FDA-approved anesthetic when paired with therapy, can improve treatment resistant mental health disorders. Ketamine works by quickly increasing the activity of the neurotransmitter glutamate in the frontal cortex of the brain, whilst allowing new synapses to form in the same area. This produces an antidepressant effect by allowing the serotonin straight to activating glutamate. KAP certainly also has a psychedelic component, that releases us from those stuck pathways, probably through temporary modulation of a specific serotonergic gate; and it also enhances new learning through glutamine mechanisms, so that we can quickly learn new habits.

What is Ketamine Assisted
Psychotherapy?
KAP is an intensive psychotherapy model that allows the person to arrive to their core feelings and rewires emotional memories. Ketamine allows us to bypass our defenses and feelings of anxiety, giving us access to deeper feelings we typically avoid. With the guidance of your therapist - you will begin to self-soothe any defenses that are activated that would normally protect our anxiety and keep us stuck. ​

Our team consist of a triple board certified anesthesiologist and psychotherapists, who will work collaboratively to identify and reach your goals. Consultation
Meet with our clinicians for a comprehensive evaluation to determine in K.A.P is right for you.

Psychotherapy
Before, during and after your course of treatment, you will meet with our psychologist to relate your trip to your everyday issues.

Infusion Therapy
Receive up to six ketamine infusions lasting 40-90 minutes each. Under close supervision, safely administered by our doctors in our spa-like treatment rooms.

Maintenance Program
Upon completion of your treatment, we offer a ketamine nasal spray maintenance program as needed to sustain results.

Follow Up
You will continue sessions with your assigned clinician and we will check in throughout treatment to answer questions, chart progress and make adjustments
